Plankton Productions Pty Ltd is an Australian based specialist services & media production company with a full slate of projects, from TV Documentary & Online Science Education to Marine Video Art, all underpinned by David Hannan's extensive HD footage library.

During 2012, David Hannan made significant contributions to Planet Ocean, a new film by the producers of 'HOME' and completed principal cinematography for Coral: Rekindling Venus, a major new work in full-dome format by acclaimed artist Lynette Wallworth. Other endeavours include visuals for projection onto the new dance performance piece Okeanos and scenes for Rob Stewarts new film Revolution coming out now.

Current program releases include 9 new Education Modules and a 6-part TV series entitled Undersea Edens. David's latest edition of his timeless classic Coral Sea Dreaming is now available through MLJ Network.

In recent years David Hannan and Plankton Productions have filmed in tropical and temperate waters all around Australia, undertaken expeditions to Antarctica and Papua New Guinea and established not-for-profit organisation Ocean Ark Alliance.

Today, the International Wildlife Film Festival at Missoula, Montana announced its winners for 2010. Undersea Edens won the category for 'Best Series' (under $500K), which is fantastic recognition for producers Nate Scripture, David Hannan and their teams collaborating on this international co-production. read more...

Okeanos, is a new 60 min live performance show giving audiences a sensory experience of the ocean. Presented by Capacitor, San Francisco's dance-circus.
