About Plankton Productions - formerly 'David Hannan Productions Pty Ltd'

High Definition Marine Cinematography, Stockfootage & HD Programming

Plankton Productions is David Hannan's Australian based media company producing HD programming from an extensive marine footage library resource covering a full slate of projects from TV Documentary, Online Science Education to Marine Video Art.

Apart from 9 new Video Education Modules and a new TV series entitled Undersea Edens, several other HD titles are also in release including Antarctica Dreaming - Wildlife on Ice, Serenity - Southern Seas and David's current all new film Coral Sea Dreaming - Awaken.

In recent years David Hannan and crew have filmed in tropical and temperate waters all around Australia, undertaken several field trips to Antarctica and established a current filming base in Papua New Guinea.

Cinematographer, Director and Producer, David Hannan first won international acclaim for his tropical coral reef images in his now classic video Coral Sea Dreaming - An Evolving Balance originally released in 1992.

Many years, TV documentaries and musical programs later, David remains passionate about all things marine and since 2001, has filmed on HD in a joint venture with ProCam in Brisbane Australia.

Although always busy with ongoing commissions, field shoots and new productions, David also foresees an especially exciting future for Virtual Decor HD Display Programming.

From mid-2009 onwards, the company has a new business name 'PLANKTON PRODUCTIONS PTY LTD', previously 'David Hannan Productions Pty Ltd', Australian Company and Business Registration details remain the same: ACN 010 898 567 and ABN 43 010 898 567.
